Marin photographer and artist, Russ Eddy, is best known for creating large, life-like images of trees in such definition, they resemble a botanical study.
His work is reminiscent of Audubon drawings, bringing the viewer into the very forests and meadows where the tress stand. He will spend as many as 40 hours shooting the same tree over and over, until he is able to light it much like a master painter, stitching together hundreds of photographs to create timeless, highly detailed pieces that powerfully conn
My goal with photography is to capture that feeling of exploring a new place for the very first time — freezing it to be shared and re-lived over and over again.
